Jukebox is a music player in MP3 format suitable for kiosk terminals with touchscreen technology. After pre-set payment is made the Jukebox plays requested songs. Program provides in its settings very easy change of the “look” of the software with so called “application skins”. The Jukebox also keeps track of information of played music. When the played song ends, the song is saved to statistics file, which can give us information on which songs were played often or which were not played at all or how much money was earned.

Jukebox saves the statistics to its internal data file or if needed the data can be exported to XML file as a complete report or a statistic for every day. The whole application was created in such a way that while stuff is doing administration of the program, neither kiosk has to be opened in any way nor any extra devices are needed. Jukebox is controlled by a pin code on virtual calculator including adding of new songs – by change of CD or DVD.
User level
For user, it is very easy to control the kiosk. Step to the kiosk with JukeBox and if the the option “Free Play (no payment necessary)” isn’t set – insert required amount of money into the coin proof. The monitor displays how many prepaid songs can be played. Choose the album on the right side of the screen. When the album is selected (by touch on the touchscreen) JukeBox displays list of the songs on the album in the middle of the screen. Touch the symbol to the right of the song o select the song. With the next touch confirm the selection and the application adds the song to its history play. If the history is empty and no other song is currently in play mode, the selected song will start to play immediately. Each time the song is confirmed, the song is automatically included in statistics.
User level – administrator
With virtual calculator, you can change easily the sound volume of the sound card of the kiosk as well as switch on/ off the coin proof, turn off JukeBox program or turn off the whole kiosk. Also with the calculator you can eject/close the CD ROM door or DVD mechanism and virtually change the whole range of songs during the play mode.
Support software
Datamaker - Program for creating playlist for JukeBox. In a special data file are stored information about MP3 file such as song name, file name, album name and information about picture attached to the song.
Setup - With this program you can set up the charge for played songs, screen resolution, change JukeBox skins, change of virtual keyboard pins, change data file with playlist and setup format for saving statistics.
