WebTouch

WebTouch is an Internet browser specially adapted for self-service Public Information Terminals with Touch Screen and Internet access. WebTouch can be used optionally with remote WEB base management program and Agent utility monitoring WebTouch functionality.

Security

  • ● Optional toll-free Internet browsing with restricted tables of URL addresses.
  • ● Option to display or restrict opening of new windows in URL.
  • ● Option to start up WebTouch program instead of Windows Explorer (NT, W2K, XP)
  • ● Option to disable displaying of icons on desktop and Task Bar
  • ● Enables to set up an interval for automatic return to “Homepage” and to “Screensaver” mode.
  • ● Enables remotely monitor or control kiosk functionality by “KioWatch” program
  • ● Protocol of WebTouch to Log. file WTLOG.LOG max. size 500kB.

Reliability

  • ● External utility “Monitor”, which monitors functionality of WebTouch program and restarts computer on incorrect functionality.
  • ● Optional setup of automatic closing of windows with messages of Windows system.
  • ● Optional restart of Windows in requested hour.
  • ● Optional restart of Internet Explorer window with error in script on a page.
  • ● Automatic restart of Internet Explorer window after exceeding time interval for return to Homepage.
  • ● Automatic restart of Internet Explorer window after a command to close Internet Explorer window from WEB page.

Flexibility

  • ● WebTouch works with Screen resolution 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 or in case the LCD is turned of 90° in resolution 600×800 a 768×1024 (from version 1.3.44).
  • ● Option to define your own virtual keyboard e.g. size and position of keys, pictures, key content
  • ● Option to define your own keys and their definition (bitmaps)
  • ● Option to define your own error messages of WebTouch program
  • ● Option in WebTouch setup – only Internet Explorer window can be displayed without any other control functions
  • ● In Keyboard window – Czech signs and numbers can be mapped (only Czech version)
  • ● Option to display another Internet Explorer window.
  • ● Option to save actual setup of WebTouch to a file and return to it later on.

Functionality

  • ● Analog phone operated by phone connected to modem
  • ● ISDN phone operated by modem adequate to specification CAPI II
  • ● Operating of IP phone adequate to standard H323
  • ● Optional setup of 1 dialing (service) number
  • ● Option to set up phone number dialing from a WEB page
  • ● Option to set up phone number dialing by a keyboard displayed on the screen
  • ● Coin proof functions
  • ● Option to set up browsing of Internet for a charge. You can set up the amount of money charged by a minute
  • ● Option to set up charged print of internet pages by a printer. A4 paid format.
  • ● Implementation of reading messages from COM port and according to the message follows a “skip” to appropriate URL address. This option can be used for different peripheries.
  • ● Option to run external programs.
  • ● Automatic upgrade of WebTouch program on Internet (this function will be implemented in new versions to come)
